2016 India ATCx Conference Series

The 5 city 2016 India ATCx Series was held recently from July 21st and 29th. Part of the global series of ATCx Conferences, these 1 day events are filled with valuable information, and provide a great opportunity to learn, exchange, and network with CAE leaders and experts in the industries.

The India ATCx focused on a Solver Theme and there were 4 workshops per city covering Linear/Implicit Non Linear (OptiStruct®), Explicit/Non-Linear (RADIOSS®), CFD (AcuSolve®), MBD (MotionSolve®) & EM (FEKO®, Flux™). Each conference had a couple of industry keynotes with senior R&D Executives from Safran, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hyundai, Eaton, Tata Motors, Eicher Polaris, Maruti Suzuki addressing the audience. Microsoft was our HPC Partner and with the help of Wipro & Altair Solver team they presented a case study on “Leveraging HPC Resources in the Cloud to Drive CAE/CFD”.

The ATCx also featured APA partners – Moldex, Cradle as well as NAFEMS India team and their booths generated a lot of interest within the delegates.

The Altair India Enterprise Computing team booth organized a live demonstration of HyperWorks Unlimited® at all locations.

The Bangalore ATCx also featured a Aerospace vertical specific session on Composites & Additive Manufacturing conducted by Dr. Robert Yancey – Vice President, Aerospace Solutions, Altair.

High Performance Computing Simplified

The ATCx also featured an HPC Parallel conference and PBS User Group Meeting in 3 cities – Bangalore, Pune & Delhi. This conference focused on “improving productivity, reducing cost and simplifying HPC environments using PBS Works & Software Asset Optimization tools”.

Prominent HPC keynotes and case studies from CSIR, MBRDI, TCS, CDAC, IISER, Eaton, IIT Delhi, IASRI, Maruti Suzuki, SML Isuzu were presented. This conference brought together Altair HPC customers from diverse verticals like Manufacturing, Scientific Research in Govt. & Defense, Life Sciences, & Education. The “PBS User Group” Meeting offered an opportunity for all attendees to interact with our Product Development team.

Over 50 customer case studies using Altair Solver technology were presented across the 5 cities and cumulatively 2000+ users of HyperWorks® attended the events.
