Airbus A380 designed with Altair HyperWorks

Airbus Aircraft: Global Employment of HyperWorks Solutions

It truly is an honor to work with amazing companies and support their engineering accomplishments. Airbus has been a leader in the aerospace industry for over 40 years and holds the achievement of flying the world’s largest passenger airliner, the A380. Altair has had the privilege of working with Airbus for many years and we’re very pleased to announce an even stronger collaboration with worldwide employment of HyperWorks solutions in Airbus aircraft.

Altair has won a benchmarking competition, and as a result Airbus will implement a new pre- and post-processing tool based on Altair’s HyperMesh and HyperView globally. The new agreement between Altair and Airbus confirms the worldwide Airbus aircraft migration to HyperWorks Desktop.

The agreement affirms Altair’s position in the aerospace industry as a key provider of high-end simulation and development solutions. It also complements and tightly aligns with the long term consulting collaboration between Airbus and Altair ProductDesign.

This is an exciting new era for our respective companies and we’re looking forward to many great years working together!
