Earlier this month, Altair UK successfully hosted the ATCx “Next Generation Computational Fluid Dynamics” in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, which attracted a large number of engineers from various industry sectors including automotive, energy, consumer goods, and more. Leading companies participated in the seminar to showcase their design solutions with Altair’s CFD software.
The seminar began with Altair’s Vice President of CFD, Farzin Shakib, giving an overview of AcuSolve with its features and benefits, then followed by a keynote from Torbjorn Larsson of CREO Dynamics AB. Moreover, a presentation from a recent addition to the Altair Partner Alliance, FluiDyna, was also featured in the seminar regarding GPU-powered simulation technology ultraFluidX and nanoFluidX.
Advanced Analysis Ltd, Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, HiETA Technologies ltd, Jaguar Land Rover, Prodrive, and The University of Birmingham showcased the successful application of AcuSolve on their designs. “I especially enjoyed the presentations from the Altair specialists, since they gave a good overview of what the software can do and the new features”, said Maria Blanco Martin from Jaguar Land Rover, and David Tomlinson from The University of Sheffield added, “The event featured a good range of disciplines shown from varying abilities.”
It was a great opportunity to show the capabilities of Altair CFD solutions, and our continuous effort to support industries with the highest standard and accuracy while cutting down time and cost. We would like to thank all those who attended and participated at the seminar, and we look forward to seeing everyone again! Visit www.altairatc.com for more upcoming ATC and ATCx in your area.
