ATCx Houston Gathered Energy, Advanced Materials & Manufacturing, and Shipbuilding Professionals

Altair recently brought together top industry professionals and experts for a one-day event, ATCx Houston. With representatives from 38 unique companies in the fields of Energy, Advanced Materials & Manufacturing, and Shipbuilding, attendees were able to learn about the available technologies and how other industries are using them.

This year’s ATCx Houston event was sponsored by Cradle and The Jukes Group. The main tracks included Energy, Advanced Materials & Manufacturing, a FEKO workshop, and an HPC Industrial Advisory Board Meeting. The event highlighted customer success stories with distinguished keynote speakers from Chevron, and The Jukes Group as well as presentations from Baker Hughes, Optimal Structures, The University of Texas Arlington, Raytheon, and The American Bureau of Shipping. Brionna joined Altair in November of 2014, and is currently the Global Events Specialist with over 13 years of experience in the event and meeting planning industry. She leads the global events committee at Altair, and is working with people across the globe to help manage many planning elements. She offers particular expertise in the areas of site selection, contract negotiation, agenda building, and strategic communication planning including social media. She earned her undergraduate degree in Marketing from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University (MSU), and then went on to attend the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at MSU where she is now completing her master’s degree in Public Relations.
