Altair at JEC World 2016

Composite Simulation – Experience How Altair Helps to Unlock the Potential of Lightweight Design at JEC World 2017

Lightweighting is important in nearly every industry today and it’s more than just using lighter materials. These materials have to be designed and optimized for maximum results, creating stronger, lighter, and more efficient designs. Altair solutions help customers all over the world to do exactly that. Altair’s expertise and collaboration with technology partners allow clients to establish a simulation-driven design process that fully leverages the lightweight potential offered by advanced materials and manufacturing methods.

Visit Altair’s booth at JEC World 2017, from March 14-15 in Paris (hall 5A/booth N68) and learn more about how the latest Altair technology and expertise is applied throughout various industries to design, simulate, and optimize innovative products made of composite materials.

Altair Solutions on Display

At this year’s JEC World, Altair will present its broad range of simulation solutions with a special focus on design and simulation tools for composite materials, such as OptiStruct and Altair’s Multiscale Designer software. Multiscale Designer allows accurate exploration of composite material models from macro-level performance to micro-structural characteristics and effects.

Customers who “Design the Difference” TM

Several Altair customers will be presenting their innovative products throughout the show floor and talk about how Altair technology was applied to create their designs. The Robot Bike will be on display at the Altair booth, in addition to the Rolo bike and Wilson racquet displays within the JEC Planet area.

Unlock the Potential of Lightweight Design with Composites Conference at JEC World 2017

In addition to its presence on the exhibition floor, Altair will also introduce “Unlock the Potential of Lightweight Design with Composites”, a new conference program completely dedicated to composite simulation. The conference agenda includes presentations from renowned companies such as PSA Group, CORIIOLIS, HENKEL, and CIKONI Composite, speaking about best practice examples on how Altair solutions help to create innovative products and improve development processes when working with composite materials. The conference will take place on March 15th at 2PM in Hall 6 of the JEC conference center.
