Featured Event: Altair Exhibiting and Presenting at the 2015 JEC Forums Boston

Altair will be exhibiting at the JEC Forums Composites Innovation & Technology this week in Boston. Composites experts will gather at the JEC Forum Boston 2015 for a 2-day presentation, exhibition, and networking.

On the first day, the conference will focus on design, optimization, and simulation. Day 1 will delve into the optimization of crucial steps in concept development and provide a global view for simulation tools. On the second day, the focus will be on mass production and cost-reductions. Day 2 will examine how production ramp-up goals can be met in the aeronautics industry and cost-competitive solutions for mass product in the automotive industry.

I will be presenting on Day 2 regarding the production ramp-up goal in aeronautics industry with the topic “Beyond Black Aluminum – Optimized Composite Structure Design for Aerospace Structures.” I will be discussing how to effectively manage the variables in composite design, design optimization tools for laminated composites, and managing design constraints.
