solidThinking will be exhibiting at the RAPID 2015, the worldwide preeminent event for 3D printing, scanning, and additive manufacturing, from May 18th to May 21st in Long Beach, California! This year, RAPID is celebrating its 25th year of industry-leading discussions, workshops, and presentations.
The RAPID Conference gathers the largest group of experts and innovators in the additive manufacturing industry, and has been the leading the latest developments, trends and techniques specific to additive manufacturing, rapid technologies, 3D printing, and 3D scanning. It’s a great opportunity to meet leaders and thinkers that are applying the technologies in manufacturing for transportation, medical, dental, casting, and more.
The conference features keynote presentations focused on emerging 3D printing and scanning technologies within various industries, visual and hands-on workshops, and more than 200 exhibitors. solidThinking will be at booth 1125 showcasing a replica of the RUAG Space Sentinel-1 antenna bracket which in early 2016 will be the largest metal 3D printed part sent into space. Altair and solidThinking’s software helped cut the weight of this bracket by 43%. Altair Chief Technical Officer, James Dagg, will also be presenting at the conference on Tuesday at 2:00PM.
