Featured Event: Altair at Supercomputing 2014

Supercomputing 2014 (SC14) kicked off yesterday in New Orleans, LA. High-performance computing (HPC) experts have gathered in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center to discuss networking, storage, and analysis using HPC, which provides a gateway to new discoveries across many fields of endeavor. 

Now more than ever, the HPC community is having an effect on a broad array of industries and institutions. From life sciences research to weather prediction and business analytics, HPC is an indispensable tool for solving some of the world’s most challenging problems, helping innovators discover solutions and make life-changing decisions. This year, the conference will highlight some original and fascinating scientific and technical applications globally with presentations, technical papers, tutorials, and sessions.
