The two-day conference focused on the future of computer-aided engineering (CAE) by combining industrial knowledge, expertise, and forward thinking. Jose Maria Cueva De Lion presented on the topic, “Using Multiphysics to Predict Powertrain Bore Distortion.” The NAFEMS HPC Working Group organized a high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure session that gave public and private providers a unique opportunity to engage with UK engineering firms. The conference also increased awareness of the future of CAE by including a workshop on optimization and offering several free short courses.  Thanks for a great event!
